Mannequins in steel

Suspects are mannequins in steel
Spit on hands and seal the deal
Beaming red lights, screaming squeals
Lies flow out as the skin peals

(Keyboard solo)

Fatal distraction of the white skin
Rocking boat and a skilful grin
Portrayed truth diving right into a sin
“What’s going on?” My head spins

(Guitar solo)
(Drums begin)
(+TEMPO)
(Guitar solo)
(Bass + Guitar dual)
(Drums stop)
(Bass solo)
(Drums begin)
(PRIMARY TEMPO REGAINED)
(Bass solo continues)
(Guitar begins)

Mannequins in steel seal the deal
Screaming squeals as the skin peals
White skin with a skilful grin
Diving right into a sin, my head spins

(Guitar solo)
(Guitar distortion EXTRO)

"Suspects are mannequins in steel"

Hmmmmm

Mannequin- Fake
Steel- Cold, hard, unbendable

Bribing the police... lies, hidden beneath the surface are revealed "as the skin peals"

The next part is... well even more bizarre... well brilliant but still bizarre.

You mention where the drums stop, but not where they come in...

Oi' this is so grotesque!

So hard to see how your songs all fit together clearly... hmmm wait, it just clicked, OK... I'm not going to say here what I think this means... ;)

Brilliant Darling! xx

I really like the imagery and metaphors you've created in this piece. I love that it flows like a poem and this piece has great rhythm. The drawing you accompanied with this piece brings us in as well.

beautiful but painful.

I gave it a good 20 passes before something sunk in! I read this almost every day for a good 5 passes. And everyday the picture gets clearer.

Though I am sure I haven't got it completely, I can see that the bigger picture is becoming clear. There is a crime, there are protectors, there is a spectator - and there is a gross miscarriage of justice. I hope I am somewhat right!

Please read my latest post (The book that made the man) whenever you have some time to spare.

Great piece here, Ajey. Cheers!

Mannequins of steal would hold everything inside and nothing could be brought in.
Always cold and unfeeling.

I don't know if I am right.. But I feel like a crime has been committed and justice has been faked.
