Burn the eternal shadows

(LOW-PITCHED GURGLE)
Tasty blood
Satisfies me
Sacrifice the
Whores in blasphemy
Feast upon their flesh

Grinning at the East
Burn the eternal shadows
Dancing before these eyes
Blacking out this grey
View from the grave

(Drums stop)
(Instrumental Bridge)
(Drums begin)

(+TEMPO)

Sleep under the sun
Sing below the shying moon
Dance in the black rain
Cause evil reigns

(SFX-Thunder)

(HIGH-PITCHED SHRIEK)
Boil the corpse, bite the meat

(SCREAM)
Pluck the fingers
Tear the skin
Make the sacrifice
Send the soul away to
Kiss the god below

(REGAIN PRIMARY TEMPO)

(LOW-PITCHED GURGLE)
Walk on my
Funeral pyre
Spit at Your grave
Burn the eternal shadows

Vampires? Undead? Paranormal?
Some of the few words that first entered my head! This is a bit chilling and mind boggling!
Overall effect: Wickedly outstanding piece of work!

Bros

I like meditative music in general.
I love the romantic poetic period so I am lost in Schumann's dreaming while reading your recent post.

Talk about juxtaposition! I would love to be able to say...and what is the thinking here behind the verse? I would like to feel an understanding that could be in sync with intent or inspiration?

So, since I am not able to converse over coffee or tea, may I have your permission to ask...Please tell me more?

Bros...Reading again...it is really quite well done...with or withon knowning inspiration or intention?

Were you a classical piano student?
Linda

Opaque said...

@Linda S. Socha - Yes, I did realize that this form of music isn't appreciated or even heard by many.

I shall tell you more shortly.

@Linda S. Socha - Yes, I did study piano for a very short period though. Thanks a lot!!!

The low gurgle kinda set the stage. what kinda background would this performance have? Very intricate lacing up of thoughts, AJ-all nice and tight. ~Rick

Ajey I'm beginning to worry about you! Ha! You are more crazy/mad than me! *dance*
I think you do this style very well though and makes the reader actually feel they are there when reading (or this one anyway.
'sing below the shying moon' my favourite line of the whole.
Well done, you.

I want so much to HEAR your songs - the music that goes with them. Are you playing a guitar? Or perhaps another instrument?
In my youth, I was a bit of a vampire fan. Have you seen the film, 'The Hunger'?

Thanks for your comment on my recent poem. I really appreciate your loyalty.

@Poetikat - I took some piano lessons many years back. I play the keyboard to a certain extent. Hopefully, sometime, soon I shall be able to add music to these lyrics. I shall post the link, for sure, when done so.

Thanks, you. And, about commenting to your psots, pleasure was all mine.

every line is a gem buddy :)ur song gave me goosebumps, not because of

"Boil the corpse, bite the meat"
"Pluck the fingers
Tear the skin"
"Spit at Your grave"

but the way you wrote it(powerful write), to make us close our eyes for a second in fright..

"Burn the eternal shadows" I could feel the tempo building up even in silence.

@Viji - Thanks a lot!!!
