The Oracle

Look at me, looking at you through the broken mirror
Far from His embrace
One invincible image filled with terror
The boneless meat left with no trace
Bathed in sorrow, unmasking the truth
Blow away the candle, see the grinning face

(Instrumentals – 3 minutes)

Emptiness fills the need of contentment
Testify the undying love
For an unspoken word and a glimpse
A token I’ll conquer to be a witness

(Drums stop)
(Guitars only)

Absorbing the vapour
I grasp the hand on fire
Outrunning the scythe
As I wriggle in my pyre

(Drums begin)

The moon hid as I crossed my destiny
A dream would make this an irony

(Guitar solo)

The branches embraced me tight, as if I was their own
In pain but comfort, I drone
Her untied hair, a delightful spectacle
With a stare in her eye, she becomes an Oracle

My Oracle!
The Oracle!

(Music fades out)

The One

(Pipa INTRO)
(Pipa + Guitar)
(Pipa + Guitar + Piano)
(Drums + Bass begin)
(Pipa + Guitar + Piano Trio)
(Pipa stops)

All the wrongs that I’ve done
Are all now forgiven
By the prayers of that one
It’s for her, that I shall
Do the things that I have done
For a smile from that one

(DUAL VOCALS)
She, is the one
The one I pray for
The one I care for
She, is the one
I’ll always serve
The one, I don’t deserve

All the anger inside me
All the vengeance within me
Fade away when I’m with that one
All the evil deeds
I’ve said and I’ve done
Are not mine anymore

She, is the one
The one who truly cares
The one I will obey
She, is the one
I have always spared
For, the one, I haven’t cared

(Guitar Bridge)
(Piano solo)
(Drums stop)
(BACKGROUND – Pipa + Guitar + Bass + Piano)

My ignorance fails to realize
Her innocence fails to recognize
It’s her trust I defy, but my presence satisfies
To her, I need not justify, but my lie clarifies

(Pipa stops)

(SPOKEN)
“My fluttering soul recognizes the face”

(Drums begin)
(DUAL VOCALS)
She, is the one
The one I shall pray for
The one I shall care for
She, is the one, I shall always serve
She’s the one, I don’t deserve
She, is the one
The one who truly cares
The one I will obey
She, is the one, I have always spared
For, the one, I haven’t cared
Enough

(Guitar Bridge)
(Piano Solo)
(Choir – AH)

(SPOKEN)
The face of the Cyprian who feeds my sorrow

(Guitar Bridge)
(Piano Solo)
(Choir – AH)
(Drums stop)
(Pipa EXTRO)

The Asterisk

(Keyboard and Guitar solo w/o drums - INTRO)
(Drums begin)
(Instrumentals – 1 minute)

From the voices of the ones unknown
Comes the story of the ones known
Not once, she’d flicker her eyes
Belief arose with the sunrise

Apathy kills the civilization
The stepping-stone has shattered to pieces
Trivial chants bring no salvation
You stand up and the world seizes to exist

I feel my soul crumbling within
The Cyprian feeds my sorrow
The sacrifice, a sin, freed from within
I see nothing above and nothing below

Freed from the stable to enter the dark
The light from the altar seeps through the crack
My fluttering soul recognizes the face
This is the last light, now, only the night shall last

(Bass and Guitar solo)
(Drums stop)

The asterisk rises from the West (GROWL)

(Guitar solo with drums)

The cold face had nothing to say
Washed out forever, no sun, no ray
I am freed to be banished far away
I sing alone in great dismay

Staring at the North in despair
Walking to the South into the snare
Pushing myself away from the glare
Breaking my word as life’s not fair

Objected and rejected! (Adlib)

(Guitar solo)
(Instrumentals – 30 seconds)

I sing alone in great dismay (spoken)

The Light

He leaves his belief
In his quest for disbelief
This world falls to the failing words

The bright lightning
And, his pervading anima
Looks for compassion astray

Seeking existence
Without any assistance
The vastness engulfs his soul

So, fall from the sky above
To torch the path below

Orbit the sleuth
To furl the truth
And seep it into the dark

This grain has to dry
And perish to a new life
Embracing the decaying death

Craving for freedom
In search of it random
As he longs for the pristine light

So, fall from the sky above
To torch the path below

The Bane

(Drum solo INTRO)

March towards the burning lake
To burn the shadow of pureness
Crush the idols of cowardliness
Under the shadow of the sword
Lies the way to lead the world
Hiss out the devastating truths
The devious demons
Lust upon the hollow trust
Kiss the skinless corpse
Free the weakling souls
To feast upon in your nightmares
Crawl under the shadows of demons
To reach the depth of Hell

(Guitar solo)
(Instrumentals)

"Listening was all that mattered" (whisper)

The Seer

(Distorted music)

The sun would rise somewhere through the fog
Nine, but only one would become the Seer – (spoken)

(Clear Instrumental start – 1 minute long)

He sees, he warns, he begs, he explains
What he says is written but forgotten
The revolution brings recognition
But it’s too late, after all the demolition

His visions, he sees in fractions
Are baseless quatrains
The deliberate misjudgement overrules
“Servant of evil” they hail

(Instrumental bridge – 5 minutes long)

The apothecary doesn’t care
“Battles in the clouds”, he says, but none care
Objected and rejected!
Set the saltpetre in flames

The Seer is peered
The monitions least feared
Disbelief will have all shattered!
Listening was all that mattered

(Clear Instrumental end – 2 minutes long)

The sun rose somewhere through the fog
Nine, but only one became the Seer - (spoken)

(Distorted music)
