Rusting doors

(SFX - Heavy Breathing)
(Guitar INTRO)
(Strings CRESCENDO)
(Drums BEGIN)

I convey her love for me
For my self-satisfaction

The splash of the wave
Slaps the back door close
Skid marks on the wood

I may be not what you think I am

Now, this is all I do
I wait as the curtain falls

(Guitar SOLO)
(BACKING VOCALS BEHIND SOLO)
"Be with someone who loves you than
Being with the one you love"

What's in the hand is not grasped
What's on your mind is far from reachable
What's in your arms is not cherished
In the end the devil dances

To his death

In his quest to create
Something more than he could
He lost his way
To his pride

The man, his decisions in two minds
This time he is hollow below the lights

(DUAL VOCALS)
I may be not what you think I am

Now, this is all I do
I wait as the curtain falls

(Guitar SOLO)
(Instrumental section - 6 minutes)

The curtain has fallen
The curtain has fallen down
Soaked in the serum of truth
Burning in the venum of deceit
The curtain has fallen down

Still, he doesn't mind death

(SFX - Phone ringing + Instrumental section - 2 minutes)
The numbers take a toll
It is 9, could be 8, could be 8, then a 6, a 2, may be an 8 and then some more

(Drum SOLO)

The rusting doors could keep him away
But, not his pride

The man, his decisions in two minds
This time he is hollow below the lights

(All INSTRUMENTS STOP)

(GRAND ENTERANCE OVERLAPPING VOCALS BELOW)
The curtain has fallen
The curtain has fallen down
Soaked in the serum of truth
Burning in the venum of deceit
The curtain has fallen down
It's falling down
It's falling down

I'm not sure what meaning you are trying to convey, but what I get out of this is a mans pride being not a detriment but an prompt to do something that he should have been prevented from doing. Plus the fact that he is living his life in two minds, suggests a duplicity that he may or may not be aware of. Sad that he's living with someone who loves him when he doesn't love that person back... Don't know where this is leading...

This appears to be part two of your latest work. This man is meeting death but his life still appears to be a mystery. There is quite a bit to dissect here. Nicely written.

The Dali Savadore image is great! Warped time...
Very intense piece- with that curtain falling- I do like it!
