I miss you
As I look at the sun
You say, I’m the only one
Who can look at you shining on me
As I look at the sun setting away
You walk away and the world fades away
You’re not here and my life’s filled with the night
But, these heartaches give me some sight
Baby, it’s now when I miss you the most
It’s now when our memories come alive
Do you remember the lonely beach? Under the moonlight
We embraced ourselves tight
With you beside me, we’ll watch the sun setting far away
Now, I don’t mind to see the world fade away
I know I’ll see the sunrise cause with me forever you’ll stay
You’re not here and my life’s filled with the night
But, these heartaches give me some sight
Baby, it’s now when I miss you the most
It’s now when our memories come alive
People have said many things before
“It’s your first and last night with her. You’ll have no more”
You know, it’s now that I miss you the most
It’s now that I love you the most
Baby, I miss you like
The desert misses the rain
You're the one who caused this pain
And, my only one to cure my pain
(Duet)
You’re not here and my life’s filled with the night
But, these heartaches give me some sight
Baby, it’s now when I miss you the most
It’s now when our memories come alive
Memories come alive, yeah yeah
Memories come alive, oh yeah
Memories come alive
(Alternate title - Memories come alive)

Very nice and expressing words, and indeed inspiring. This line attracted my attention the most: Baby, I miss you like
the desert misses the rain. Coz I used to say to the girl I loved: "I miss you as much as a fasting person misses water."
@Ali - Shokran!!! Hey, your line is good too.
missing makes for good writing and even pain is better than a void. Nice words, Bro ~Rick
@Rikkij - Thank you!!! Yea, you are spot on with that observation.
Awe Bros, you and Ali have got me all sentimental and sooki...tis beautiful my friend...
@A'Jay - Thank you. Your comment makes me feel good about it as it is coming from a female. Well, it is supposed to be romantic and sentimental. And, I believe it has its effect. Thanks once again.
ooooh, i'm in love.....
Like always AJ, Commendable work.
Rightly said by Rikkij. Pain actually brings out the best of you. Emotion flow is amazing and very well maintained throughout. Beautiful work
@Shadow - Makes you fall in love all over again, eh? Thank you
@Make Me Disappear - Thanks a lot
Delicate. Thank you.
@Judith - Thank you
Great post.
I think this is my favorite so far.
I can feel what you're saying.
@Walker - Thank you
I can see my dear friend that you can write amazingly about love and loss of love. It is not easy to describe these feelings I can tell. I noticed in all the comments how all of us felt the love, the pain, the truth in your words (feelings) and that what make your songs Ajey very touching...that they touch our hearts.
awww....pining has its own bittersweet tune.
@Khaled KEM - Oh, thanks a lot. Yes, it is quite difficult to put such feelings on paper. I am glad I am able to do so as the response seems quite positive.
@Meena - Thank you!!!
beautiful and aching...such feelings, you write so well, Katie
@Rainbow dreams - Thank you!!!
Nice one!! Another love song from you that's surprisingly nice!!
It's really good; really really good!! N "I miss you" while is a nice song title, I'd prefer "Memories Come Alive" more since your song though based upon a very common and popular theme takes a very different route from the rest!
"Memories Come Alive" would be a more suited title!
@Saadi - Yea, you know what, even I prefer the alternate title. Hence, I mentioned it below. But, a few moments before posting it, I added "I miss you" as the title.
Any ways, thanks. Getting a thumbs up from a person who is an expert in love songs is an achievement for me.
its amazing how u've put down ur emotions in this song.. its a song that most people can relate to.. and its beautifully written.. and i agree with Saadi, "memories come alive" is a better title than "I miss you"
@Anushya - Thank you
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Well, I felt you deviated a bit from the trademark AJ style. I personally felt your pen could have come up with something even more forceful for this heart felt pain or the longing expressed here. You could definitely have done better Ajey. I missed the rhythm at some points, nevertheless I got a bit sentimental too... maybe thats y im expecting even better from you. But, i felt as if I could feel you missing the person very much, maybe thats the reason why "Memories come alive" was impulsively replaced by "I miss you" ;)
"Memories can be haunting sometimes, they are capable of even wrecking lives!!"
Well, once again, AJ exploring this genre... I am curious :P
Indeed you left me in Night
Though the embrace was tight
The memories still fight
A sense-evading Night
Where the cool moonbeams haunt
To the edge of suffocation undaunt...
@SarahA - That said everything. Thank you!!!
@Diya - This is definitely something different but not new to me. Yea, I understand the expectation factor. Thanks for reading.
@Diya - Nicely put!!!
a beautiful touching serenade of lost love..
too adorable.
@thoughts - Thanks, you!!!
