Blurry faces
Never lie to me

Denying destiny (x2)

Do we really need it?

Hmmm... had to go through it a number of times before I got, I guess maybe just a blurred image...!!
Bygone beckons... isnt it Ajey? Superbly expressed, especially "Everything that haunts
Is a wish..."... that was wonderful. :) But again something mysterious was prevalent all throughout, Ghosts Ajey :P :)

Opaque said...

@Diya - Thank you!!! I am glad you like this one. It is quite mysterious like most of my songs.

The Write Girl said...

I agree with Diya's sentiments of it being mysterious. I really like the last two lines and the photo sets the tone for this piece.

hmmm. makes the wants seem kinda crooked and untrustworthy and the currency required justified need. That kinda takes the fun otta it! but good writing, again!~rick

Liked lyrics. I like these kinda mysterious things. It's like a puzzle, which could be interpreted according to the reader's choice. Is there any way to hear this. I'd love to with all those music score.

Opaque said...

@Sayuri - Thank you!!! Umm, I do not play instruments very well. Thus, I do have any recordings. But, yes, I do imagine them.

Woman in a Window said...

Why is it that we're always fearing that which we don't know? There's plenty enough that we know about in the world to fear. Why don't we just save the rest and wait and see?

This one brings up some good questions, Brosreview.

Opaque said...

@Woman in a Window - Thanks!!! It sure does raise a lot of questions.

the two most difficult questions.. we seem to ask them almost at every halt.. I love this one.. It is not blurred. Pretty clearly expressed :)

I am liking this Ajey. I like breaking each part up and reading such indvidually. The images that way are stronger to me.

Very true, you.

Flashes in the sky.. clever mate! This song is right up my alley.

A combination of piano, guitar and drums. I wonder if the song in my head would sound like how you'd make this one.

Maybe a bit like enya or evanescence? Okay, I'm guessing.

When will your record come out man?

Opaque said...

@zorlone - Soon mate!!! Very soon!!! At least that is what I tell to myself. Thanks for appreciating!!!

I have always been fascinated by this subject Ajey. A fantastic take. Well, I could also call it a unique take as there is no band who has expressed the thought like this. You know, I have always and will continue to be a fan of your enigmatic style of writing.

Sometimes we get frustrated to learn about the unknown. And, sometimes we regret that we shouldn't have bothered to learn about it. The more we know, the more we fear. Some things are better left alone or untouched.

A brilliant take. I'm proud of you.

@J - Thanks a lot!!! I appreciate it.

Very nicely done Ajey..!!

Like the theme, liked the overall concept...

Wish we had the answer

I doubt if we really want it..!!

Judith Ellis said...

Wonderful, Ajey! Existentially, the unknown is known though deeply rooted within. The wanting, the needing seems like a desirous discovery. We are forever looking for reflections of ourselves in various images. Sometimes we don't like what we see; if we embrace it then acceptance can be. The unknown then becomes the known, a familiar friend. We generally accept familiarity and reject hostility. The beauty to me here is the honesty needed to love that unfamiliar often seemingly instrusive fragmented identity into acceptance, into becoming a friend. I love the ending.

Opaque said...

@Judith - Ah!!! Thanks Judith!!! It is so good to read your comment. It has been a while. I've missed them. You understand the point quite well.

**Unknown until known

It is wonderful to see such creativity being put to tune. Would love to hear them some day.

Peace.

You have a very what do I say "different" way of writing.. again like I said before.. Mysterious... Your thoughts (posts) are not simple as they appear.. something very deep flowing through them..

Makes the reader wonder....

@Zendagi - Well, that is the intention. Thanks for reading.

Love the pics you use to accentuate your songs. Nice.

By the way... I recommend movies that, in my opinion, come nearer consideration of "film"... In fact, here's one for you- Powder Blue. Poignant, well acted and directed.

Peace.

@thepoetryman - Thanks mate! Yea, sure, I'll try to get a hold of that movie.

I like your line about dreams being wishes. Yes that fits quite a bit. Dreams can be frustrating, confusing, enlightening as well.

Your right that this fits my poem, "Ring around the moon."

Very perceptive of you to notice the similarities. Its interesting to read this, trying to see your intent on writing it, and comparing it with my intent on writing my piece. Actually I think the intents are very similar... hmmm. interesting.
