(Guitar + String INTRO)
(Bass +Drums BEGIN)
(Guitar SOLO)
The mist above the frozen lake
The soul behind the cloud of clues
The crack on the empty vase
The man rests behind rusting doors
Bleeding it all out
Death, he doesn't mind
The cowardice lives a shameful life
(Guitar SOLO)
The man, his decisions in two minds
He is hollow below the shadow
But, between the lights
(Drums BREAK)
(Bass + Guitar DUAL)
(SPEAK -> WHISPER)

Nothing as frustrating as the way phones do make you wait-
N you liken it to the wait for death.
Also, how we have to go thru automated answering for hours, lucky if you ever get to speak to an actual person at all.
Wondering about that ph number- do we hear the touch tones there? that's what my brain heard.
Easy to be a coward, eh? Hard work to face things and work on them. Yikes. I don't talk on the phone hardly at all, but being told it is busy and call back later would be frustrating. Hope you have a wonderful year in 2011.
Hi, followed you here from Snaggle Tooth's place.
interesting piece and would like to hear it, with all instruments included.
Happy New Year!
...finally the nerve to phone, then this...
How did he get that way? What cowardice brought him to the moment... and he doesn't feel able to call out for help, until the end... then it's too late... Interesting.
The two minds and then the call....and then notin.....sometime two minds makes it too late.....i wd love to hear this no though....interesting one it is
I am certainly intrigued by your latest work AJ. What awaits this man? Death, an old friend, an enemy? I will certainly keep reading.
Yes, I wondered too - what is he waiting for...and the curtain falling? What becomes of him?
